The Perspective Behind My Practice

I grew up with family reading cards around lively kitchen tables throughout New England. It was nothing unusual to see my Grandma Ward or my Aunt Janet lay out a spread and read for someone. They used a blend of intuition, psychic ability and a talent for translating symbols and recognizing patterns. Many of my cousins and their children, mostly the women and girls, share this gift in some form or another. I understood early on that I see the world a little differently, and the Tarot became a way to help myself, and then others, find perspective.
Two Worlds
I’ve spent decades living in two worlds and discovered they’re rarely separate. My sales and marketing career taught me about timing, judgment, and reading a room. I’ve endured the angst and adrenaline of pressure and learned that trusting my gut often makes the difference. The same instincts that help me read people in business help me read the cards—both are about seeing what’s really going on beneath the surface.

Your Inner Oracle
Here’s what I believe: you have more power and clarity available to you than you might realize. My role is to help you see it. It’s like what Glinda told Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz: ‘You had the power all along.’ She did—but she needed someone to show her how to use it.
My readings help you see your situation more clearly—the patterns you’re in, the influences around you, and what might be ready to shift. Sometimes that means validating what you already sense. Sometimes it means revealing what you haven’t seen yet. Either way, you’ll walk away trusting your judgment more. No ruby slippers required—though they wouldn’t hurt.
Looking forward to reading for you,
Tammy
